What is CUET UG 2027?

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG is the centralised entrance exam for admission to undergraduate programmes at central universities, state universities and other participating institutions across India. Conducted by NTA, CUET UG has rapidly become one of the most important exams for Class 12 students aiming for top universities like DU, JNU, BHU and many more.

This is the most important decision in your CUET preparation. Your domain subject choices must align with your target university course requirements.

1. Identify your target courses and universities — look up the admission requirements for each program you want
2. Check which domain subjects are mandatory — different universities have different requirements for the same course
3. Choose based on Class 12 subjects — CUET domain syllabus is largely NCERT Class 12 based
4. Don't over-select subjects — focus on 3–4 domain subjects and do them well

Subject-Wise CUET Preparation Strategy

Language Section Strategy

The Language section tests reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. Practice reading dense passages quickly and answering questions accurately. Use past CUET Language papers to get familiar with question patterns. Focus on reading speed and inference-based comprehension skills.

Domain Subject Strategy

The domain section is entirely NCERT Class 12 based. If you have studied your Class 12 subjects well, the domain section should feel familiar. Here is how to ace it:

• Read NCERT Class 12 thoroughly for each domain subject — cover every chapter
• Solve CUET PYQs subject-wise to understand question patterns
• Focus on factual, definition and application-based questions

General Test Strategy

6-Month CUET 2027 Study Plan

Months 1–2: NCERT Foundation

Cover your selected domain subjects chapter by chapter from NCERT. Make concise notes on key facts, definitions and important points. Do not skip any chapter — CUET has asked questions from seemingly minor topics.

Months 3–4: Practice and PYQs

Start solving topic-wise CUET PYQs and practice question banks. Take subject-wise mock tests on Study Grid Prep weekly. Use AI analysis after each mock to identify which chapters need more revision. Also begin Language and General Test practice during this phase.

Months 5–6: Full Mocks + Revision
